Charles I. Romano

Charles Romano is a former military medic with sixteen years of experience in civilian and military healthcare, working in a variety of capacities including Phase I to IV clinical pharmaceutical and device research in CNS, Oncology, Inflammation, Infectious Diseases, GI, Women’s health and Urology. In addition he has led departments in Global Outsourcing, labor and delivery, newborn nursery, mental health, and staff education & training. Among his many accomplishments, Charles is a recognized subject matter expert on Global Trial Management, electronic data capture (EDC), and has actively led the development of in-house systems, and implementation at clinical sites. In addition, he is well versed in SOP development, protocol development, and report generation from his work at companies such as Pfizer, Boehringer Ingelheim, UCB Pharma and Peachtree BioResearch Solutions. He currently lives in Acworth, GA with his wife and three children and enjoys writing science fiction, gaming and suburban vegetable gardening.
