Mark Phelps leads the Research and Development Center in Atlanta for LifeSync corporation, headquartered in Fort Lauderdale Florida. LifeSync is a medical device company committed to the development of innovative wireless vital signs products that improve clinical outcomes for patients. Dr. Phelps joined LifeSync in 2007 with over eighteen years experience in the design and development of high technology and high reliability products for medical, automotive, and defense industries. Prior to LifeSync, he spent ten years at Medtronic responsible for Electronic Systems Technology and New Therapies and Diagnostics Product Development at the Microelectronics Center in Tempe, Arizona. Dr. Phelps has held leadership positions at Motorola's Sensor Products Division in Tempe, Arizona, and Texas Instrument’s Defense Systems and Electronics Group in Dallas, Texas.
