Eric Tomlinson is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Altea Therapeutics, a specialty pharmaceutical company developing advanced transdermal patch products for the sustained non-invasive delivery of highly water-soluble drugs and proteins.

He has extensive expertise in pharmaceutical product research & development.  He was worldwide Head of Advanced Drug Delivery Research for Ciba-Geigy Pharmaceuticals (now Novartis), and as Chief Executive Officer of GeneMedicine was responsible for its venture financing, public offerings, business partnerships and products for treating cancer, cardiovascular disease and neuromuscular disorders.  He received his degrees from the University of London, has published more than 200 scientific papers and has received several professional awards and distinctions in the pharmaceutical sciences.
