Keith Robinson, Ph.D., is Principal Scientist for Cardiovascular Research at The American Cardiovascular Research Institute (ACRI).  Dr. Robinson oversees preclinical studies focused on advancing the scientific knowledge related to, and treatment of, cardiovascular disease.

Dr. Robinson received a B.S. degree from Western Carolina University in 1982, M.S. Education from Western Carolina in 1983, and a Ph.D. degree in Exercise Physiology from Florida State University in 1987.  Dr. Robinson currently holds a research faculty position at the Medical College of Georgia, where he is an Associate Professor of Medicine in Cardiology.  Additionally, he is an Affiliate Scientist in the Division of Molecular Medicine at the Yerkes Research Center.  Dr. Robinson was formerly an Associate Professor of Medicine (Cardiology) at Emory University School of Medicine.

Dr. Robinson has published 56 peer-reviewed papers, 90 abstracts and 9 book chapters.
