C. Michael Cassidy
President and CEO, Georgia Research Alliance (GRA)

Mr. Cassidy is President and CEO of the Georgia Research Alliance, a strategic partnership of Georgia’s research universities, joined by the business community and state government.  He  represents the State of Georgia on the Southern Technology Council and is on the Board of Directors of Oak Ridge Associated Universities, the Southeastern Life Sciences Association, the Council of Biotechnology Centers, the Georgia Cancer Coalition, Georgia Advanced Technology Ventures, the Georgia Chamber of Commerce, the Technology Association of Georgia,  and the Capital Formation Institute.  He is active with the Council on Competitiveness, the State Science and Technology Institute, is on the Board of Visitors of the Grady Health System and is a member of the Commerce Club of Atlanta.  Mr. Cassidy holds a Master’s degree in Technology and Science Policy from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a BBA degree in Marketing from Georgia State University.
