Complimentary Airport Shuttle System
Hours of Operation:
The International HIV & Hepatitis Virus Drug Resistance Workshop is pleased to offer a complimentary airport shuttle service on the days of June 8 (for arrivals) and June 12 (for departures) to and from the Dubrovnik International Airport (DBV). Once you have collected your baggage and exit customs you will be greeted by a representative holding a International HIV & Hepatitis Virus Drug Resistance Workshop sign. You will then be escorted to the shuttle and then onto the Hotel.

Airport to Hotel
Tuesday, June 8, 2010: 12:00 hours - 22:00 hours
Shuttles depart every 15 minutes from the airport.

Hotel to Airport
Saturday, June 12, 2010: 10:30 hours - 19:30 hours
Shuttles depart every 15 minutes from the hotel.

Dubrovnik International Airport
Hotel Croatia is approximately a 10-minute drive from Dubrovnik International Airport (DBV).

Taxi
Taxis are available outside the Dubrovnik International Airport during airport hours.  The cost of a taxi from the DBV airport to the hotel is approximately €20.

Car Rental
 Avis, Budget, Dollar, Hertz, Thrifty, Bingo Rent, and Uni Rent are all represented at the Dubrovnik International Airport (DBV). 

Drivers must be in possession of valid documents for themselves and the vehicle, as well as the Green insurance Card.

Driving Directions from Dubrovnik International Airport
Upon exiting the Dubrovnik International Airport follow the Hotel Croatia signs to the hotel.

Electrical Power
Electric appliances in Dubrovink are 220V/50 Hz.  UK guests should note that power outlets in Croatia are the Continental two-pin type and that a socket adapter is therefore required. If you will need to use an adapter, please be sure to use an appropriate transformer as well.

Climate
The Adriatic Coast boasts a typical Mediterranean climate with hot dry summers and mild winters. It is one of the sunniest and warmest coasts in Europe with an average of 2,600 hours of sunshine per year and an average summer high temperature of 89°F (31°C) during the day to 68°F (20°C) in the evening
