Airport Shuttle System
Due to the close proximity of the Sanibel Harbour Hotel and the Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW), there will be no complimentary airport shuttle system.

Southwest Florida International Airport
The Sanibel Harbour Hotel is approximately a 25-minute drive from Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW).

Driving Distances
Fort Myers is just a few hours’ drive from Miami, Tampa and Orlando via interstate highways.

Taxi
MBA Airport Transportation, LLC is the provider of taxi service at Southwest Florida International Airport. MBA taxi rates from Southwest Florida International Airport are defined by zones, not meters. Signs will direct you to the Taxi Booth, which is located outside the baggage claim area.  The cost of a taxi from the RSW airport to the hotel is approximately $40.00.

Car Rental
Alamo, Avis, Budget, Dollar, Enterprise, Hertz, National and Thrifty are all represented at the Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW). The Rental Car Service Centre is located on the ground level of the parking garage. Arriving passengers should proceed downstairs, exit baggage claim and walk across the street to the car rental facilities.

FT MYERS INFORMATION
Climate
Ft. Myers predominant climate is warm with average temperature in June at 85 degrees Fahrenheit during the day and 72 degrees Fahrenheit in the evenings.  Sunscreen is a must, as are hats for the whole family, because the sun is quite strong for most of the year. Attire at even the most exclusive hotels is resort casual; jackets for men are rarely required.

Credit Cards, Currency and Exchange
All major international credit cards are accepted. Foreign currency and traveler's checks can be exchanged at the foreign-exchange office in the airport or at most banks. The currency system in US is the Dollar.

Electrical Power
Electric appliances in Ft. Myers is 120/60 HZ and the plugs conform to the North American system of two prong plug and outlet. If you will need to use an adapter, please be sure to use an appropriate transformer as well.

Tipping
In restaurants, hotels, taxis, hairdressers and so on, gratuity is not included in the price. Although optional, tips are readily accepted and a general guideline is 15 to 20% of the bill, depending on the quality of the service. The hotel bellman gratuity for check-in/checkout is suggested at $12.00 per person and the maid gratuity is suggested at $6.00 per room, per day.

Official Language
English will be used throughout the Conference. Simultaneous translations will not be made available.

International registrants who require a letter of invitation to obtain a travel visa may contact Informed Horizons directly by email at dmullett@informedhorizons.com. Please include your name, address, fax number and note requesting a letter of invitation. Delegates from China should also include their passport number, date of birth and gender. All letters of invitation will be sent by fax unless otherwise requested.
