THE APPLICATION/ABSTRACT DEADLINE IS MIDNIGHT EASTERN TIME, THURSDAY APRIL 2, 2009.
The Organizing Committee requires that presenting authors submit their abstracts electronically via this website. Abstract submissions will only be accepted from the presenting author. All correspondence regarding the status of the abstract will be sent only to the presenting author.
As in previous years, the abstract/application process has been combined into one online step. During this online process, if you indicate on the application form that you are the presenting author and intend to submit an abstract, you will be forwarded to the ABSTRACT SUBMISSION page, providing an opportunity to upload the abstract. There is no need to complete the application/abstract form until your abstract is ready for submission.
To submit an abstract, click on the SUBMIT ABSTRACT button at the bottom of the page and follow the step-by-step directions, which will enable you to provide the presenting author contact information, answer a few questions, and then upload the file containing your abstract from the computer system that you are using to access this website. To ensure your abstract retains any special characters or formatting, the abstract must be in MICROSOFT WORD format.
Multiple submissions from the same data set will jeopardize abstract acceptance. The Organizing Committee requires submission of a single abstract from the entire group involved in the study.
Each applicant may submit a MAXIMUM of two (2) abstracts. If more than two (2) abstracts are submitted, only the last 2 submissions will be evaluated. Those authors of abstracts not accepted will be considered for acceptance with those applicants not submitting an abstract. For each accepted abstract, one registration slot will be awarded to the presenting author. Co-authors of abstracts must complete an application to be considered for admittance into the Workshop.
