Hello
and welcome to the International HIV Drug Resistance Workshop: Basic
Principles and Clinical Implications (formally known as the International
Workshop on HIV Drug Resistance & Treatment Strategies). We
are very proud and excited about the 2002 Workshop. We have made
several updates to the meeting programme, while keeping the integrity
and quality of the workshop at an all time high.
As you
are probably aware, the workshop has gained a reputation over the
last 10 years as being one of the premier HIV Drug Resistance meetings
in the world. It is attended by leading scientists and clinicians
in the HIV resistance field, many of which present their latest,
largely unpublished work. The workshop is renowned for the quality
of the data presented during the formal sessions and the depth of
the scientific interaction and debate throughout the meeting.
This
year the workshop is being held at the Hotel Alcora in Seville,
Spain on July 2-5, 2002. This beautiful and historic location allows
convenient access to the International Conference on AIDS that is
being held in Barcelona the following week.
Please
take a few moments to look through our website. It will explain,
in detail, how to gain admittance to the workshop including the
application process for registration and how to submit an abstract.
For companies, we also give information on how to become a corporate
supporter of the workshop.
Again,
we welcome you and hope to see you in Seville for what promises
to be another exciting and eventful Workshop.
